Below are some little tidbits about me.

This was from the VCU Tiranga Festival. It was the second time we performed it, the first time being the Brandcenter Talentsaurus Rex Talent Show. It was so much fun to be dancing again!

Rural Guangdong, China. I lived with a family in a rural mountain village and worked in their fields, primarily picking peanuts. I helped in the rice fields for a day too, but I was really slow and got a few dozen bug bites around my ankles from working barefoot in the muck. Like the rice fields, the roofs of the houses are terraced. This is taken from the top terrace of their home, overlooking the rice drying on the level below and the neighbors working in their rice fields.

New York City. I went to visit my boyfriend in NYC for the Fourth of July, my birthday. We left the theater in the middle of the worst movie ever to find this otherworldly sunset. The very reason I prefer the late showings.

South Dakota. My sister and I stopped in a ghost town and befriended an old woman working in the one shop that sold a mix of 1990’s nail polish, fossils, and things found in your neighbor’s attic. She invited us to stay at her house for the night. Turned out she was crazy. This is the view from her road after our brisk morning departure.
